How much does yoga teacher training cost?

Score our $2,700 early bird rate when you complete full tuition payment one month in advance of the program start date.

If you’d prefer a payment plan to complete the normal tuition price of $3,200, no problem at all, just let us know!

Once you are ready to sign up, secure your spot in teacher training with a $500 deposit.

How do I become a yoga instructor?

Completing your 200-hour teacher training certification is the first step to becoming a yoga instructor. Teaching yoga is more than just a certification though, it is a lifelong commitment to the practice and teaching of yoga. After receiving your certification and getting experience among friends and family, you’ll be ready to start applying for yoga positions within studios, gyms, retreat centers, and more. In our training, we’ll talk about next steps for your yoga career to get you started on the right foot.

Is yoga teacher training worth it?

Yes, it is totally worth it! Yoga teacher training is a transformative experience that will be with you for the rest of your life. It oftens guides students to new chapters in their lives, opens their eyes to new possibilities, and expands their compassion for themselves and others.

Can you do teacher training while pregnant?

If you’ve consulted with your doctor and are given the green light, YES! We welcome all expectant parents and are happy to offer modifications and variations for the physical practice.

How do I prepare for yoga teacher training?

Prepare for your training by practicing yoga throughout the week and reading books or online content around topics within yoga that interest you. Ultimately, coming with an open mind and heart is what you need to be prepared.

Is yoga teacher training hard?

Teacher training can be challenging, both mentally and physically. It is a journey through the self, to the self. Along the way you might experience some bumps in the road. Moving through difficulties and struggles is part of the yoga journey.

How long should you practice yoga before teacher training?

Everyone comes into yoga teacher training at a different time in their lives. While we do recommend having some experience, it is not a requirement. You can expect to see all levels in your training, from students that just started practicing yoga the month before, to students who have been practicing for decades.

How do I sign up for yoga teacher training?

Sign up online by placing a $500 deposit.

Do you offer monthly memberships?

Can’t get enough yoga? If you attend 4 or more classes a week, then consider becoming a monthly unlimited member! At only $88 per month, our membership is the best deal in town A monthly membership gets you unlimited access to all Black Swan Yoga classes and studios across Texas and beyond! You can sign up whenever and cancel before your next auto draft without any cancellation fees or penalties.

What is a drop-in donation?

We want to make yoga accessible and affordable, so all of our classes are donation-based, meaning that we don’t have a set rate per class. Please feel free to donate whatever is comfortable and available to you! We accept cash and card at the studio, or you can sign up and pay online ahead of time with a card.

How much are classes?

We don’t have a set rate per class, so students can donate whatever they feel comfortable with! The suggested donation range is $15-$20, and students are able to pay via card in Studio or on MindBody, if signing up for class in advance.

Do I need a membership to attend classes?

Not at all! We are totally drop-in friendly, so anyone can come in and take a class.

Do I need to preregister?

All of our mat space is first come first served, and arriving 15-20 minutes early will give you plenty of time to check in, set up your space, and grab any extras you might need (water bottle, props, etc.). If you would like to guarantee your spot prior, please sign up ahead of time online or via the MindBody app.

Can I rent out the studio for an event?

We unfortunately don’t rent out the studio space at this time.

Can I bring my child to class?

Little Yogis are welcome to practice with a parent, as long as they have filled out our waiver. We do not offer child care or have a lobby area where kids can hangout, so they must be with their parent at all times.

I’m running late, can I still come?

If you’re running late to class, please come in, set up your space as quietly as you can, and sign in after class at the front desk. Some of our locations lock the doors as class begins for the safety of our students, so please be sure to arrive as early as you can!

Can I bring a guest?

The more yogis the merrier! If you’re bringing a friend or two, please have them sign the online waiver before arriving.

Do I need to sign up ahead of time?

Students can either sign up ahead of time online via our website or the MindBody app. We also accept and encourage walk-ins. Just remember all mat space is first come, first served, so arrive between ten to fifteen minutes before class to park, check in/donate, and set up your space.

Do you offer teacher training?

Yes! Check out our Teacher Training page for a list of programs in a City near you. We are Yoga Alliance certified school, offering200 HR and 300 HR teacher training programs.


300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

We invite you to sign up for our full 300-hour yoga teacher training, receive a 10% discount, and complete your advanced certification within 1-3 years. If you'd prefer to purchase and participate in modules individually, you can gain Yoga Alliance CEUs or accrue hours towards your 300-hour certification with Black Swan Yoga.

Education & Empowerment

Our Yoga Alliance Registered program focuses on philosophy, teaching skills, and anatomy and alignment. Within each of these areas, your studies are guided by experienced trainers whose primary aim is to educate and empower you, as a teacher and a student of yoga.



Community is at the heart of our studio and our training programs. Expect to not only move further into your own yoga, but to also refine your ability to share this practice with those around you. 


Open to Everyone

Our advanced training is open to you whether or not you are a yoga teacher, though we strongly encourage you to have previous yoga education so that these sessions will be most beneficial to you.


Get to 500 Hours

Upon completion of our 300-hour program, you are welcome to register with Yoga Alliance for your 500-hour RYT designation, as long as you've completed your foundational 200-hour training at a Yoga Alliance Registered School.
