"A truly magical experience. The time, intention, thought, and energy put into this training was breathtaking. Anyone wishing to learn about yoga should attend. I truly hope they put together another course soon so I can sign up. My teachers were incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming. Every ounce of energy I put into this was returned 10-fold."
"They openly layered their wisdom, technical support, and passion for yoga with their students in each class. We were embraced as student/teachers from the first day forward. Their mission to heal and enlighten others through yoga is one that I will undoubtedly be passing along to my clients served. Thank you Black Swan Team for being the compassionate and thoughtful luminaries that you are!"

Everyone comes into yoga teacher training at a different time in their lives. While we do recommend having some experience, it is not a requirement. You can expect to see all levels in your training, from students that just started practicing yoga the month before, to students who have been practicing for decades.
Choose a community where you feel welcomed and aligned with their values. Training programs are representative of the community they’re a part of. You might ask yourself, what values are more important to me? If accessibility, connection, and inclusion are high on your list, Black Swan Yoga will be a great fit for you.
Yoga teacher training is a path to learning more about yourself, letting go of what doesn’t serve your wellbeing, and connecting more deeply with the steadiness and peace within you. If that sounds appealing to you, then yoga teacher training is a good choice.
Teacher training can be challenging, both mentally and physically. It is a journey through the self, to the self. Along the way you might experience some bumps in the road. Moving through difficulties and struggles is part of the yoga journey.
Prepare for your training by practicing yoga throughout the week and reading books or online content around topics within yoga that interest you. Ultimately, coming with an open mind and heart is what you need to be prepared.
